When I was an active duty officer in the U.S. Air Force, I wore a military uniform every day. At Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (Dayton Ohio), we had a tradition of wearing our Battle Dress Uniform (BDUs) on Friday. We called it “Warrior Day,” even though most of us have never seen the outside of a cubicle! Why BDUs? They’re camouflaged so the enemy can’t see you as easily. As I was reading the following scripture the other evening, I thought of those BDU’s! Our enemy tries to camouflage himself too. Watch our for his army… always remember to check the fruit!
“Watch our for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. By their fruit you will recognize them.” Matthew 7:15
