The Heavens Declare . . .

The other day, I had a conversation with a young lady who was adamant that there was no God. When I inquired as to how she could be so sure, she quite assuredly told me that she had never seen any evidence of Him. “Interesting,” I told her. “I can’t seem to look anywhere and NOT find evidence of a divine Creator. Look at the palm of your hand, at a baby rabbit, out to the stars or even inside your own soul… the evidence is overwhelming.” We had a nice conversation and I asked her to pray that God would reveal Himself to her over the coming days. I said it with confidence, knowing that God is always faithful… if we seek Him we will find Him. And the evidence will blow us away!

“The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour fourth speech; night after night they display knowledge. There is no speech or language where their voice is not heard. Their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world. In the heavens the has pitched a tent for the sun, which is like a bridegroom coming forth from his pavilion, like a champion rejoicing to run his course. It rises at one end of the heavens and makes its circuit to the other; nothing is hidden from its heat.” Psalm 19:1-6
